The challenge: week 7
Two weeks late. Sorry about that. I’ve been kinda in a slump. But its time to get back on track!

30 (ish) minutes.
So I notice right away that the head and face should be tilted more upwards. The shadows aren’t right (surprise surprise), her mouth is off and her left arm should be further behind her torso. However, I got in a bit of a groove during the end and I risked attempting to do the shadows on her hair. Its sloppy and incorrect, but it ended up looking more like hair, so I am kinda happy with it.
I need to continue to work on going from gesture to using shapes to add volume while keeping everything proportioned and in correct perspective. That is pretty much 75% of drawing so it sounds really daunting, but all I think it means right now is working on using my gestures as skeletons to add basic cylinders, cubes and other 3d shapes onto and keeping everything on their proper planes.
Back to the drawin’ board!
